Bernard Paul K. Haena Sr., 80, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 3 in Palo Alto, Calif. Born in Hilo, he was a retired mechanic for American Airlines in San Francisco and U.S. Navy veteran. Graveside service and burial 11 a.m. Wednesday (March 27) at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Sonia; sons, Bernard Jr. and Brian; daughter-in-law, Karen; siblings, Calvin Haena and Josephine Galang; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Norma Leong Mokiao Leite, 84, of Hilo died March 19 at home. Born on Maui, she was a bus driver with the State of Hawaii – Dept. of Education and a warehouse worker for the former Hilo Coast Processing. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday (March 27) at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 4 p.m. Graveside committal service 11 a.m. Thursday (March 28) at the Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Stanley “Stan da Man” Kalehiwa Kelekolio, 53, of Hilo died March 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a in-studio broadcast producer for KPUA sports, DJ at KAHU radio, Kamehameha Schools cafeteria staff, owner and operator of his mobile disco, DJ at The Pali room and Breakwater nightclubs, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and The Ohuohu St. Kava gang. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Brief program to follow.
