Kona remains unbeaten

Konawaena boys volleyball continued its hot start to 2024 with a straight-sets win over Ka‘u in Pahala — 25-17, 25-14 and 25-10.

Now at 3-0, the Wildcats will next be tested against conference rival Pahoa at 6 p.m. tonight in Ellison Onizuka Gymnasium in Kealakekua.

The Trojans (2-1) will seek redemption against Parker School — with first serve slated for 5 p.m. tonight in Ka‘u’s gymnasium.

Correction

West Hawaii Today and Hawaii Tribune-Herald incorrectly reported Kealakehe softball player Summer Wellington closing the game against Kea‘au on March 4. Wellington did not pitch in the outing.
