Earle Robert Buckley, 81, of Captain Cook, died Jan. 7 at home. Born in North Adams, Mass., he was a construction project manager. Services to be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Kahikolu Church in Napo‘opo‘o. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hospice of Kona and the Food Basket. Joyce Hatsuyo Ichishita, 74, of Kailua-Kona, died Dec. 28 in Honolulu. Born in Paia, she was a USDA technician. Private services. Gary Lee Delos Santos, Sr., 76, of Naalehu, died Nov. 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ka‘u, he was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a retired custodian for Naalehu Elementary School.
