Born in California, she was a retired operating room nurse, member and pianist at Hilo Seventh-day Adventist Church and was involved with the Prison Ministry on the mainland. Visitation 2-3 p.m. Friday (Jan. 12) at Hilo Seventh-day Adventist Church. Memorial service at 3 p.m. Online streaming of service on Hilo Seventh-day Adventist’s YouTube channel. Casual attire. Genesis “Genny” E. Kekaualua, 81, of Hilo died Dec. 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a was a retired concrete truck driver with Pacific Concrete of Honolulu, president and founder of Heaven on Wheels Motorcycle Club on Oahu and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Samasoni “Sam” Save II, 68, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 5 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Leone, American Samoa, he was a Department of Defense machinist, enjoyed fishing and diving, playing poker and blackjack and spending time with family. Addison Moore Bowman, aka “Professor Bowman” or “Coach Addie,” 88, of Paauilo, died Dec. 15 at home. Born in Mechanicsburg, Pa., he a lawyer, professor of law emeritus at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and University of Hiroshima Faculty of Law, member of the Public Defender Service in Washington D.C., author of Hawaii Rules of Evidence Manual and a gunnery officer and navigator in the U.S. Navy. Visitation 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 20, at Honokaa Hongwanji Mission. Memorial service at noon. Another memorial at a later date at the William S.
