Was da night befo Chrismas and all tru da hale. Da oncles and aunties was feeleen real jolly.

On da floa wuz da keikis playeen so loud. Da ohana wuz dea, da whole Chrismas crowd.

Dea wuz Oncle Pupule tipsy wit cheeah, and Auntie Lateeta boxeen his eahs!

All ‘round da room it stay real nice. Everyone eeteen ahi ‘an rice.

Wuz da gude Kaukau, ono da kine. Everyone suckin’ up cole beah and wine.

Da tree wen stood in da corner wit’ pride. Everyone feeleen so gude insie, waiteen fo Santa fo breeng all da toys, an’ fill up da stockeens of gude girls and boys.

Den I wen heah one beeg kine clattah, I wen run to da window fo see wot wuz da mattah.

When wott to my eyes did appeah- Santa Claus an’ all hees reindeah! I stay real surprise, I teleen you, he really had one beeg kine opu!

He sat on da beach jus’ waveen away! Siteen so happy inside hees beeg sleigh. Den Santa he walk cross da blazeen hot san’, shooteen da shaka wit hees free han’.

In slippahs and shorts, aloha shirt green and red, one lei roun’ hees neck, One straw hat on hees head.

He stay so happy wit one beeg smile, wit so much aloha and Hawaiian Style.

Da Ohana all stay fas’ asleep, Santa came in and nevah make one peep. He put all da presents undah da tree, den he wen turn aroun’ and wink at me.

Den he say “Hea da presents fo you and da guys, aftah sum pupus away I mus’ fly. It stay too hot hea in Hawaii, as I fly from Puna up to Kauai.

So geev me da milk and da cookies and stuffs. Me and da reindeer we had enuff.”

So I geev heem sum milk and cookies fo kaukau, poi an’ sum sushi, opihi and laulau. I loaded heem op wit’ sum da kine Kalua Peeg, aftah eateen al dat he going be plenty beeg!

He look back at me as he sat in da sleigh, geteen ready to fly on hees merry way.

As Santa rise up in da midnight cleeah, I hear him call out to all da reindeah,

“On Lolo, kalohe, Pupule an’ Poi, Don Ho and Bento an’ Lilikoi!”

As Santa an da reindeah to da sky he flew, He wen shout out, “Mele Kalikimaka to you!”
