Marcelino Bagaoisan Bacxa, 88, of Kailua-Kona died October 27, 2023 at the Pali Momi Medical Center. Born October 12, 1935 in the Philippines, he was a prep cook at the former Basil’s Restaurant and former Fisherman’s Landing. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at 8:30a.m. December 2, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; Funeral Service begins at 10a.m.; Burial at Kona Memorial Park at noon. Robin Crusat
Robin Patrick Crusat, Sr., 69, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, died October 19, 2023 at home. Born June 27, 1954 in North Kona, Hawaii, he was a retired police officer with the Hawaii Police Department for 25 years and was a general contractor who built numerous homes on Hawaii island. He was a member of SHOPO, an avid hunter and volunteered for numerous causes. He is survived by his wife, Carla Crusat; Son, Robin (Sacha) Crusat; daughter, Christy Kaine; Stepdaughter, Melissa (JR.) Fredericks; Hanai daughter, Jasmine-Victoria (Chris Aukai) Crusat; Mother, Julia Lominario Crusat; Brothers, Jeffrey Crusat, Jerry (Debbi) Crusat, Rodney (Kandice) Crusat, Rudy (Andrea) Crusat and Jaime (Angie) Crusat; sisters, JoAnn (Gary)Smith and Jessie Mae (Bill Miller) Crusat; hanai brothers, Chad (Erin) Basque and Stephen Kitagawa; Several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
