Mae Sumi Narimatsu, 72, of Hilo, died Sept. 25, 2023, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lihue, Kauai, she was a first grade teacher at Waiakeawaena Elementary School and member of Waiakeawaena’s Aloha Committee and Parent Teacher Association, Hawaii State Teachers Association and National Education Association.
