Hawaii Preparatory Academy girls volleyball collected its 10th win of the season against Kohala on Thursday night at Castle Gym — winning in four sets by scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-13 and 25-23. Sitting at 10-1, Ka Makani sits firmly in the No. 2 spot in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) Division-II standings. The Cowgirls dropped to 6-3 and remain in the middle of the standings. HPA will next face Konawaena on Thursday in Kealakekua, while Kohala will take on Parker at 9 a.m. today on the road.
