Brain Injury Support Group will meet Wednesday, August 9

The speaker for this meeting will be Jack Gillem, personal trainer and will speak and demonstrate ‘Indian clubbing as a form of exercise’. Jack will demonstrate a gentle form of arm exercises call Indian Club exercises. This form of swinging weighted clubs (which look like modern day bowling pins) is different and involves gentle movements in order to strengthen and increase mobility in your upper body. This form of exercise dates back into the 19th century. This is a fun and gentle form of shoulder exercise. The meeting will be held on Zoom, on Wednesday, August 9, at 4 p.m.

Invited are all brain injury, stroke or other neuro-trauma survivors, their families and caregivers, interested professionals and the public. If you have any questions about the support group meeting, you may contact Karen Klemme at 808-896-2962 (text), or email: kklemme@hawaii.rr.com.
