Richard Rogers
Richard “Rick” “Bubba” Lance Rogers, 69, of Kamuela, Hawaii died on January 26, 2023 at his home. Born in Long Beach, California on October 24, 1953, he was a member of the Osage Nation and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was an active volunteer with Advocats and CatSnip Hawaii. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to CatSnip Hawaii at P.O. Box 87, Kapaau, Hawaii 96755. Private services. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jo Rogers of Kamuela; daughters, Lovella (Stephen) Daoust of Orcas Island and Rachel (Jason) Radwick of Kailua-Kona; 2 grandchildren; 2 nephews. Harry Kami
Harry Tokuo Kami, 91, of Hilo died May 22 at his home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired marine biologist for the Government of Guam and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Clementine Boyes
Clementine Hokuloa Boyes, 78, of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, died June 20, 2023 at her residence. Born in Hilo, Hawaii on July 1, 1944, she was a kumu and bus driver at Kealakehe Elementary School, a volunteer chaplain at the Kona Community Hospital, and volunteered at senior homes by singing for and talking with patients. A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. July 23, 2023 at the Bayside Lawn at Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa, at 78-128 Ehukai St. in Keauhou. The family requests casual attire. Nancy Perreira
Nancy Leihulu Perreira, 64, of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, died June 24, 2023 at her residence. Born in Oxnard, California on January 13, 1959, she was an uber driver and a member of Daughters of Hawaii and Calvary Community Church. Michael Joseph Shadoan, 67, of Mountain View died June 28 at his home. Born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, he was an oil well driller, logger and woodsman in Wyoming and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Glen John Castillo Nakata, 20, of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, died July 4, 2023 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, Hawaii on April 13, 2003, he was an auto body repairman.
