Tropical Paws benefit gala returns to raise much needed funds for shelter animals at the Hawaii Island Humane Society on Saturday, March 25 at the Four SeasonsResort Hualalai.
Enjoy meeting some of our island’s most adorable friends in need of loving, foreverhomes. Savor a gourmet dinner and sip on craft cocktails and fine wines. Raise your paddle and support the Hawaii Island Humane Society in our mission to prevent cruelty to animals, eliminate pet overpopulation and enhance the bond between humans andanimals.
The evening features cocktails, dinner, auction and adorable pets. “We need the community’s help, now more than ever as much needed proceeds from Tropical Paws will greatly help us offset shelter operation costs at our two lifesaving locations in Keaau and in Kona,” said Hawaii Island Humane Society Chief Executive Officer Lauren Nickerson.
‘We save the lives of over 97% of the dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs that comethrough our doors. Your support will help us give the gift of new beginnings by providing veterinary care, behavior support, enrichment, nutrition, adoption counseling transport, fostering and so much more. With your support, we are able to invest in their needs so that they can find the kind of love, comfort and joy that they deserve. With your support,we can do even more.”
Tropical Paws gets underway at 5:00pm with a cocktail reception and continues with a gourmet dinner and a silent and live auction. There’s always an interesting collectible, fine art and exquisite woodwork available at the auctions.
Adorable shelter animals will also be on hand to win over the hearts of guests too.
