Words and Wine is where local or traveling authors come to “Talk Story” at Kona Stories Book Store on March 7, 2023 at 6 p.m.
This literary favorite continues at Kona Stories book store, located in the Historical Keauhou Shopping Center, as three local or traveling authors talk about their recently published books. Kona Stories will serve light pupu and beverages during this event and everyone is welcome to join – best of all this is a free community event.
Authors speaking in March are:
Veronika Bajwa is an environmentalist, world traveler, and yoga instructor. She wrote: Love Your Mother
Meera Riitta graduated with a Master’s degree from Naropa University’s Somatic Psychology Program in Boulder, CO. She worked and trained with Christine Caldwell, founder of the Moving Cycle Institute and a Department Head of Somatic Psychology Department of Naropa University. She wrote: Little book of Hope
Dr. Lisa Thompson is a Best-Selling Author, Speaker, Galactic Ambassador, and Intuitive Transformational Coach, specializing in Human Design, Past Life Regression and Sound Healing. The Kona Brain Injury Support Group will meet on Wednesday, March 8at 4:00 p.m.
The title of the presentation is “Neuro fatigue ”. Featuring Katherine Steen, a certified speech-language pathologist who will be discussing what is neuro fatigue after having a traumatic brain injury and why it happens, and what you can do to make it better.

The 11th annual Buddha Day celebration will be held on March 12, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
The event will feature clinical psychologist Dr. Bart Aoki who will be speaking on “Resilience in Our Lives”, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple at 81-6630 Mamalahoa Hwy in Kealakekua.
