Konawaena to take on Iolani in HHSAA girls basketball title game; KS-Hawaii into semifinals

The Wildcats topped Kamehameha Schools Kapalama 48-42 Thursday night during an HHSAA Division I girls basketball semifinals matchup on Oahu.

Konawaena is set to take on Iolani in the state championship game at 7 p.m. Friday at Stan Sheriff Center on Oahu.

In Division II girls basketball, Kamehameha Schools Hawaii beat Sacred Hearts 56-32 in the HHSAA Division II girls basketball quarterfinals Thursday at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. KS-Hawaii will take on Hanalani at 7 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Hawaii Prep fell to Hawaii Baptist 42-44 in the HHSAA quarterfinals being held at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. Ka Makani will play Pearl City at 1 p.m. Friday in the 5th place semifinals.
