Police continue search for missing Big Island man

Hawaii Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 31-year-old Gary Silva-Evangelista, who was reporting as missing.

Silva-Evangelista has not been seen or heard from by his family since 2019. He has been known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas, as well as the island of Kauai.

Silva-Evangelista is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
