Both clinics had temporarily paused accepting new patient referrals in early October due to staffing shortages. This pause did not impact the clinics’ existing patients and did not extend to the Radiation Oncology Department, according to officials.
“We are pleased to say that we have resolved our staffing difficulties,” said Cancer Center Operations Manager Joel Marcrum. “We look forward to welcoming new patients at our medical oncology and infusion clinics. The clinics’ staff is committed to providing the best possible cancer and infusion treatment to our patients.”
Both clinics will start accepting new patient referrals beginning Monday, Nov. 21.
The Oncology and Hematology Chemotherapy Infusion is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday while Radiation Oncology hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
