Betty Joanne Spector, 90, of Hilo, died Nov. 4, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Mattoon, Ill., she was a homemaker. No services are planned. Chetwynd Sanborn Sr.

Chetwynd Clyde “Chetto” Sanborn Sr., 65, of Hilo, died Oct. 5, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 22, 1957, in Hilo, he was a tubing and hydraulicMechanic and U.S. Navy veteran. A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 19 at the Overcoming Faith Center located at 429 Makalika Street in Hilo, visitation from 10 to 11 a.m.; memorial services at 11 a.m. He is survived by wife, Abradine (Mahuna) Sanborn of Hilo; children, Chetwynd (Rockelle Augustin) Sanborn Jr., Ellswood (Lauren Overbay) Sanborn, Kahinuonalani Sanborn and Vanagan (Joyce) Sanborn of Hilo; seven grandchildren; brothers, James (Cynthia) Sanborn, Bobby (Elizabeth) Sanborn, Lloyd (Corrine) Sanborn of Hilo; sisters, Annette Lancaster of Hilo and Katherine Sanborn-Flores of Oregon; sister in-law, Denise Sanborn of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Nora Tokumura

Nora Nobuko Tokumura, 77, of Kealakekua, died Oct. 20, 2022 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua on April 1, 1945, she was a retired cook at Kona Hospital. Elaine Sommer

Elaine Grace Sommer, 79, of Kurtistown, died Nov. 4, 2022 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born on March 19, 1943 in Alberta, Canada, she was a retired registered nurse for St. Francis Medical Center – Kona Dialysis and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A graveside committal service will be held at 10 a.m. on Nov. 15 at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 2. Casual attire and no flowers. Ricalda “Rachel” Porras Crowell, 102, of Pahoa died Oct. 23, 2022, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Puunene, Maui, she was an educational assistant at Pahoa Elementary School and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. Casual attire. She is survived by son, Albert (Julie) Crowell of Korbel, California; daughter, Louisa (Leroy) Wilson of Nanawale; sister, Florence Kay of Maui; brother, Albert Porras of Oahu; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 3-5 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Ponahawai Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 522 Ponahawai St., Hilo. Memorium of her life will commence at 5 p.m. Casual attire. Mariah Kawehi O’ Na Pua Antonio, 25, of Hilo, died Oct. 1, 2022, at home. Born in Waimea, she was a homemaker.
