Fire destroys ‘Little Grass Shack’ store in Kealakekua
The long-closed “Little Grass Shack” in Kealakekua was destroyed in a Sunday afternoon fire.
The store, located fire on the makai side of Mamalahoa Highway, just south of Konawaena School Road, caught fire around 4 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading, however, the building was destroyed.
No injuries were reported.
