Reggie Marcello

Reggie Kenau Marcello, 79,of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 12, 2022 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born July 15, 1943, in Kapaau, he was a heavy equipment operator for J.M. Tanaka Construction Co. and a U.S. Army veteran.

Visitation will be held from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Oct. 28 at Kona Baptist Church in Puuloa; funeral service at 8:30 a.m.; following brunch, burial will take place at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona at noon.The family requests that casual attire be worn and flowers are welcome.

He is survived by wife, Lori Marcello of Kailua-Kona; sons, Lyn Marcello of Holualoa and Randy Kauhaihao of Captain Cook; daughters, Raynalynn (Fernando) Maldonado of Arizona, Raylynn (Jamie) Lee of Hilo and Jonnie (Eliseo Flores) Kauhaihao of Minnesota; brother, Jackie Puhi of Captain Cook; sisters, Doreen Kama of Waimea, Alohalinda Kama of Waimea, Karen Kama of Kawaihae and Daviann Kama of Waimea; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paulette Gose

Paulette “Polly” Ann Gose, 71, of Hawi, died Oct. 14, 2022 at her residence. Born Oct. 15, 1950 in Gilroy, California, she was a self-employed real estate broker and appraiser for Paulette A. Gose Real Estate Services.

Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela, HI 96743.

She is survived by spouse, Cheryl Gaebel, of Hawi; mother, Carolina Gose of Morgan Hill, California; brothers, Christopher (Samantha) Gose of Redding, California and Michael Jerome Gose of New Zealand; sister, Victoria Arbogast of Fall River Mills, California; several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Talon Jason-Rilloraza

Talon Kailor Jason-Rilloraza, 20, of Pahoa, died Sept. 27, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 14, 2002, in Guam, he worked in local construction.

He is survived by mother, Jamie Lea Jason; father, Ronald Rilloraza; brother, Nainoa Ikona Kahunanui-Jason; sister, Treleana Kahunanui-Jason; grandparents, Kelli Lea Binschus, Rodolfo and Marilyn Rilloraza; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stevelyn Grace

Stevelyn Grace, 69, of Captain Cook, died Aug. 3, 2022. Born Sept. 30, 1952, she was a retired health unit clerk in ICU at Kona Community Hospital, a custodian at Ho’okena School and a waitress at Keauhou Beach Resort.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 5 at Honaunau Rodeo Arena in Honaunau

She is survived by mother, Stella Grace; sons, Duane Grace and Warren (Chauntey) Grace; hanai children, Kainalu (Gabriella) Grace and Malie Grace; brothers, Samuel (Rosemary) Grace, Jr. and Shannon (Evanelle) Grace; sisters, Shirlene (Albert) Cantiberos, Jr., and Selma Gladden; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jorgeen Lee-Ching

Jorgeen Geelyn Lee-Ching, 72, of Hilo died Oct. 13, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was an occupational therapist and participated in Tai Chi and Qigong.

Visitation from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; celebration of life will begin at 4. Casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Dr. Richard Lee-Ching of Hilo; daughters, Dr. Leslie Ching of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jana Ching of Hilo; siblings, Guy Lee of Honolulu, Hugh Lee of College Park, Maryland, Franceen Tomosada of New York City, Wayne Lee of San Francisco, Loreen Lee of Seattle, Ja Sunn Lee of Seattle; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
