Daifukuji Soto Mission to hold online auction fundraiser

Daifukuji Soto Mission is holding an online auction fundraiser. Established in 1914, this Zen Buddhist temple is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Kona Heritage Building.

Funds raised during the event are put into the mission’s general fund used for maintaining and upkeep of the buildings and grounds.

The auction will open at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 with bidding closing at 5 p.m. Nov. 2 at www.32auctions.com/templekokua

The auction will feature handmade items, local products, collectibles, Japanese and cultural items, gift cards, and more.

Donations of new or like new items will be accepted through Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Daifukuji Social

Hall.
