Rosalia Duldulao
Rosalia Juliana Antonio Duldulao, 92, of Kapaau, died July 30, 2022 at her residence. Born July 29, 1930, in Kohala, she was a food prep and pantry worker for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and a member of the St. Augustine’s Church in Kapaau.
An all-night vigil will be held on Aug. 17 at 53-4191 Akoni Pule Highway, Kapaau, starting at 6 p.m. Friends may call on Aug. 18 at the St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church; visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory.
She is survived by daughter, Ofelia (Willy) Ramos of Ainakea; son, Eddie (Delia) Duldulao of Waikoloa; sister, Clara (Eddie) Dela Cruz of Philippines; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchidren.

Jeanette Howard
Jeanette Kaualani Howard, 98, of Punaluu, died July 2, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Punaluu, she was a Hawaiian studies kupuna for Pahala Elementary and Naalehu Elementary schools, owner of the former Howard’s Curios Shop, member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Kau Ward), O Kau Kakou and the Hawaiian Civic Club of Kau.
A celebration of life will take place at noon Aug. 20 at Punaluu Beach Park Main Pavilion. Casual attire.
She is survived by children, Patricia (Elwood) Martin of Harrisburg, North Carolina, Myrajean (Cyrus) Sumida of Pahala, Lorraine Iona of Honolulu, Guy (Julie) Enriques of Punaluu, Jon Pall (Katherine) Enriques of Pahala; son-in-law, Herman Silva of Honolulu; daughter-in-law, Valorie Enriques of Kaneohe; brother, The Rev. Dr. Henry Boshard of Kona; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews..

Samuel Kang Sr.
Samuel “Sammy” Kang Sr., 80, of Hilo, died July 31, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Captain Cook, he was a car salesman, most recently with Aloha Kia Hilo.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Kang of Hilo; children, Michele (Andrew) Hao of Kona, Samuel (Leslie) Kang Jr., Stanley (Sheri) Kang Sr., Mary (Benny) Ayala and Maverick Kang of Hilo, Tammy (Lyle) Awakuni of Kaneohe, Oahu, Robyn Yabe-Lin of Taiwan, Roxanne (Dave) Hanson of Washington state, and Debbie (Scot) Yoshimura of Kona; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
