Geraldine Kishinami
Geraldine (Hilua) Kishinami, 72, of Paauilo, died June 27, 2022. She was born June 14, 1950 in Honokaa.
Services will be held July 21 at Lady of Lourdes Church in Honokaa. Visitation at 2 p.m.; service to follow at 3:30.
She is survived by husband, Guy Kishinami; daughters, Gidget Caravalho, Gerianne Queen, Gina Hilua-Placker and Georgia Kishinami; son, Guy Kishinami; sister, Marcella Ahee; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graylaine Hanoa
Graylaine “Gray” Lani Hanoa, 68, of Hilo, died July 4, 2022 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born March 27, 1954, in Hilo, he was a courier for a shipping and mailing services company.
Friends may call on July 23, 2022 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, visitation only from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Graveside service will be held July 24 at Alae Cemetery (New Section) at noon.
He survived by brother, Robert Hanoa of Maui and Oliver Shimaoka of Keaau; nephew, Kragan Moore of Hilo; niece, Krystal Moore of Hilo; and numerous cousins and family members.

Rolando Tinaza Sr.
Rolando “Lando” Yadao Tinaza Sr., 56 of Wainaku and Keaau, died July 2, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 18, 1966, in Cabugao, Philippines, he worked at Oki Farm in Hilo, and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call on July 27 at Dodo Mortuary chapel, visitation from 4 to 6 p.m.; service at 6. Mass will be held July 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo at 9:30 a.m. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section) at 1 p.m.
He is survived by wife, Emelyn Tinaza of Keaau; children, Rolando (Lenie Madamba) Tinaza Jr., Myra (Nohealani Gascon) Tinaza, Mae (Gerald Saladino) Tinaza and Reynaldo (Anne Rose) Tinaza of Keaau; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Lolita Valderama of Hilo, Merlinda (William) Sy, Luzviminda (Juanito) Vicente and Lilia Fernandez of Keaau, Yolanda (Alfonso) Asunio of Philippines; sister in-law, Flavia Tinaza of Hilo; brother in-law, Arnold Baclig of Pepeekeo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine Johansen
Christine Johansen, 86, of Laupahoehoe died June 14, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honokaa, she was a retired payroll clerk for Mac Nut Farms Hawaii.
A celebration of her life will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 24 at Laupahoehoe Beach Park. Casual attire.
She is survived by five children; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law.
