Bernadette Boehmer, 79, of Kailua-Kona, died April 22, 2022, at her residence. Born May 31, 1942 in Chicago, she was a retired office manager for Kraftsman Auto Body and member of Kona Coast Kennel Club.

She is survived by husband, John Florek; daughter, Denise (Billy) Davis all of Kailua-Kona; sister, Madeline (James) Borek of Illinois; and granddaughter, Jillian Davis of Kailua-Kona.

Eliane Blanche Renee Lomax, 77, of Kailua-Kona, died April 21, 2022 at her residence. Born Feb. 2, 1945, in Macon, France, she was a retired assistant director and worked for the federal government, and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by brother, Alain Paul Andre Dard of France; two nephews; and two grandnieces.

Toyoko K. Ishizu, 94, of Hilo, died April 13, 2022 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born Dec. 24, 1927, in Waimea, Kauai, she was a retired state Department of Education elementary school teacher at Hilo Union School, avid golfer and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Hawaii Island Retired Teachers Association (H.I.R.T.A.), Hawaii State Teachers Association (H.S.T.A.) Retirees and Kaumana Terrace Kumiai.
Private services held. No flowers. No koden (monetary offerings).
She is survived by son, Michael Ishizu of Hilo; sisters, Emily Minei of Waimea, Kauai, and Jane Muller and Jean Hee, both of Honolulu; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Richard Dean Heller, 65, of Keaau, died April 18, 2022, at his residence. Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was an appliance repair technician, proprietor of Richard’s Repair Service and Sales, and member of the Honolulu HOGs, Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), Street Bikers United, and the Hawaii and Waikiki Yacht Clubs.
