Randall Traves Santos, 51, of Mountain View, died April 8, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born Feb. 4, 1971 in Honolulu.
Friends may call at noon May 7 at “3 Pavilions” at Keaukaha Beach Park in Hilo for a celebration of life.
He is survived by spouse, Monika Santos; mother, Jeanette Cortez; sons, Kawika Santos, Kevin (Erin) Hegent, Rico Mainaaupo, Randall Santos II, and Edward (Asia) Santos; daughter, Addelyn (Mimi Bug) Hegent; brothers, Brian Santos, Patrick (Doris) Santos, Clifford Santos, and Starsky (Sheryl) Cortez; sisters, Darlene Santos, Shana Santos, and Lacina Pagan; nine grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Setsuyo Oshima
Setsuyo Oshima, 96, of Kealakekua, died April 15, 2022 at her residence. Born Nov. 30, 1925, in Papaikou, she was a retired salesclerk at the former Oshima Store and a member of Asahi Kumiai and Daifukuji Soto Mission.
Private services to be held.
She is survived by brothers, Ronald (Kimberly) Yoshida of Pearl City, Oahu, George Yoshida, and Akira Yoshida; sister, Miyoko Yoshida, all of Kealakekua; brother-in-law, Richard Chung of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Sumie Yoshida of Hilo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cynthia Sanchis
Cynthia Marie Sanchis, 55, of Ocean View, died April 20, 2022 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 20, 1966 in Kealakekua, she was a CNA at Life Care Center of Kona.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by sons, Zachary (Tia Goldsmith) Mata, and Joshua Mata; daughter, April-Marie (Adrian Jr.) Yurong; father, John Sanchis, all of Ocean View; brothers, Danny Sanchis of Kailua-Kona and Jason Sanchis of Ocean View; sister, Gwen Sanchis of Captain Cook; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Manuel “Badiga” Earle De Silva, 80, of Honokaa, died March 24, 2022 at his residence. Born Oct. 5, 1941 in Honolulu, he was a retired cane operator for the former Hilo Coast Co.

John Lum Ho
John “Johnny” Joseph Ah Hin Lum Ho, 81, of Hilo, died April 3, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the kumu hula for Halau O Ka Ua Kani Lehua, and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Hilo Medical Center.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 7 at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium for a noon celebration of life. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
He is survived by sister, Dorothy Leite of Hilo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
