A Kailua-Kona couple is due in court today after being charged with more than a half dozen drug offenses stemming from a search if their vehicle.
Thirty-seven-year-old Jolene L. Dinson and 54-year-old Lincoln L. Dinson were arrested Wednesday, according to the Hawaii Police Department. On Thursday, investigators executed a search warrant on the occupied by the pair.
Inside the vehicle, police said investigators recovered nearly 35.5 grams of methamphetamine and 5.3 grams of a methamphetamine and fentanyl mixture having a street value of more than $1,500. They also seized more than $2,100 for forfeiture.
Jolene Dinson was charged with two counts first-degree promoting a dangerous drug, and one count each criminal contempt of court, second-degree promoting a dangerous drug, and possessing drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $100,250.
Lincoln Dinson was charged with one count each second-degree promoting a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $25,250.
The couple is slated to appear in Kona District Court today.
