Ocean View man charged with sexual assault of a minor
A 43-year-old Ocean View man is facing three counts of sexual assault stemming from all geed acts that occurred between November 2021 and this month.
John Lee Franks was charged via complaint with two counts first-degree sexual assault of a minor and one count of continuous sexual assault of a minor, according to the Hawaii County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
If convicted, Franks faces up to 20 years behind bars.
Bail was set at $150,000. Franks was scheduled to make his initial appearance on Thursday in Kona District Court.
