Leslie Jiro Ha’aheo Nomura Doctor, 38, of Pahoa died Sept. 19, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of Mooloa Farms Service, worked at Close Construction, and was a member of the Flooring Union and a Black Belt with Dragon’s Kaju Ken Bo.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 12 at Uncle Robert’s in Kaimu for a celebration of life. Casual attire.

Timothy Begas
Timothy Alan Begas, 65, of O’okala, died Jan. 11, 2022. Born Feb. 8, 1956, on the Big Island, he worked for the Hamakua Sugar Plantatio and was a landscaper for the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.

Filipe “Leppy” “Cowboy” S. Cuison, 86, of Hilo, died Dec. 28, 2021, at his residence. Born in Hilea, he was a retired journeyman welder at Ka’u sugar plantation, owner of Akaka Falls Inc. farm, and an Army National Guard veteran.

Arthur “Ata” Hawila Kaleohano, 69, of Pahala, died Nov. 12, 2021, at his residence. Born Nov. 9, 1952 in Pahala, he worked at C. Brewer Plantation and Sea Mountain Golf Course – Punalu’u and was a member of Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church, O Ka’u Kakou and Huliau O’ Ka’u.
