Melody Parker
Melody Parker, 65, of Hilo, died Jan. 6, 2022 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Feb. 1, 1956, in Los Angeles, she worked as law clerk for Judge Kimura, a state deputy public defender, an attorney for Corporation Counsel, owned of Melody Parker Law LLC, and was a member of the Hawaii Bar Association.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by husband, Paul Bello of Hilo; children, Sky (Binil) Chacko of Maumee, Ohio, and Austin (Janelle Sajor) Bello of Hilo; mother, Patrica Parker of Temecula, California; father, Jim Parker of San Diego; brother, Mark (Joel Craddock) Parker of San Diego; and sister, Lisa Metz of Oregon.

Charles Meredith
Charles Francis Meredith, 67, of Keaau, died Jan. 7, 2022 at his residence. Born May 7, 1954, in Hudson, Michigan, he operated Always On Electric in Hawaii and Las Vegas.

James “Kimo” M. McCarroll, 50, of Kawaihae, died Dec. 28, 2021 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a skilled tradesman in automobile and heavy equipment mechanics.

Patricia Leorin Salmo, 87, of Naalehu, died Nov. 25, 2021 at her residence. Born April 27, 1934 in Naalehu, she was a former counter helper for Lily’s Place and former cook for Taguchi Shoppe.
