Agnes Crivello
Agnes Crivello, 89, of Hilo, died Dec. 15, 2021, at her residenc. Born Oct. 10, 1932, in Hilo, she was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou.
Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for visitation. Visitation follows a private family blessing at 9 a.m. Flowers and lei are welcomed.
She is survived by spouse, Milton Crivello of Hilo; daughter, Marilyn (Antonio) Prietto of Waimea; three grandchildren, Jacob (Bonnie) Prietto of Tucson, Arizona, Marcus (Kiane) Prietto of Waimea and Keala Prietto of Portland, Oregon; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gail Eynon
Gail Luray Eynon, 70, of Kailua-Kona and formerly of Hilo, died Dec. 31, 2021, at her residence. Born in Norfolk County, Virginia, she was a marriage and family therapist, advocate for male survivors of domestic abuse and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ainaola Ward.

She is survived by daughter, Marcie (Morten Larsen) Eynon of Kailua-Kona; son, Mark (Lisa Tominaga) Diaz of Keaau; siblings, Harold (Annette) Eynon Jr. of Chula Vista, California, John Eynon of Prescott, Arizona, andTheresa Kirkland of Sacramento; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deacon Gallen
Deacon Laiter Gallen, 59, of Hilo, died Jan. 1, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Nov. 18, 1962 in Pohnpei, Micronesia, he was a former maintenance worker for the Hilton Waikoloa and Greenwell Farm, and a minister for the United Church of Christ Pohnpei Hilo County.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 12 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10 a.m. service. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
He is survived by wife, Erwine Gallen; sons, James Gallen and Tyson Gallen; daughter, Melvrine Gallen; and numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sachiyo Santo
Sachiyo Yasuda Santo, 96, of Hilo, died Dec. 17, 2021, at her residence. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she was a retired Japanese language schoolteacher at Kaumana Drive Baptist Church and retired office manager for Island Survey, Inc. and member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Ainako Kumiai.

She is survived by sons, Richard (Ae Ja), Raymond (Carolyn), Arthur (Jayet); daughter, Jo Ann; and grandson, Edison.
