She is survived by son, Jonathan (Layla Schuster) Dworkin of Paauilo; hannai daughter, Denise Anello of Florida; sister, Tina Messina of New Jersey; brother, Salvatore Meriano of Philadelphia; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deidre Ann “Hale” Perreira, 62, of Hilo, died on Dec. 24, 2021. Born March 16, 1959 in Kapapala, she was an employee of Hilo Lunch Shop.

Henry Kalanikau Kamalii, 64, of Hilo, died Sept. 13, 2021 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a utility worker with Hale Inu.

He is survived by brother, Barry Kamalii of Hilo; sisters, Leatrice Kamalii, Marilyn Kamalii and Jolana (Ryan Fukui) Colobong, all of Hilo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
