Police renew request for info on missing man, 67

Hawaii Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 67-year-old Christopher A. Polifka of Kona, who was reported missing by his family on Oct. 10.

Polifka is described as being Caucasian with a medium build, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 165 pounds, with reddish-blond hair and blue eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was last seen Nov. 24 in Kailua-Kona, and may have been making his way toward the Ocean View area of Ka‘u.
