Malama I Na Keiki Hanai, a local nonprofit with a mission “to support and empower foster care children in West Hawaii” is holding a Christmas Toy Drive in partnership with Papa Kona.

The goal is to provide every foster care child at least one toy this Christmas. There are currently over 200 children in foster care in West Hawaii, most living in homes with limited excess money for Christmas.

The drop off location for a new unwrapped toy — for any age or gender — is Papa Kona Restaurant, located at 75-5770 Alii Drive in Waterfront Row. Papa Kona is also offering a 20% discount to anyone who donates a toy to the drive.
