Sinclair Kahakai Jr.

Sinclair “Bo” Halemano Kahakai Jr. 55, of Hilo, died Oct. 27, 2021. He was born Feb. 11, 1966, in Honoulu.

Private services.

He is survived by sons, Dustin Wallace of Oahu, Triton Kahakai of Anchorage, Alaska, Kaipo Anakalea-Kahakai of Spokane, Washington, and Hoku Anakalea-Kahakai of Hilo; daughter, Cherise Anakalea of Anchorage, Alaska; siblings, Carol (JR) Lewi of Pahoa, Zack Kahakai of Arizona, Jean (RoRo) Amaral of Pepeekeo, and Bubs (Dorisa) Kahakai, Sev (Andrea) Kahakai, Lani (Ioane) Garmon of Anchorage, Stac (Nise) Kahakai, Mynah (Eva) Kahakai, Ty (Koa) Kahakai, and Bula (Kony) Kaili, all of Anchorage, Alaska.

Chester Park

Chester Num Soo Park, 72, of Hilo, died Oct. 28, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility. Born March 3, 1949, in Hilo, he was retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Health as a vector control inspector and was an avid bowler and golfer.

Private services held. The family requests flower and koden (monetary offerings) be omitted.

He is survived by wife, Lynne Park of Hilo; daughters, Dayna (Phuong) Park-Nguyen of Seattle and Tami (Kevin Sagawa) Park of Hilo; sister, Susan (Gary) Sunada of Keaau; brothers, James (Pearl) Park and Melvin Park, all of Hilo; three grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Ilona Guerrero

Ilona Keller Guerrero, 92, of Hawi, died Nov. 7, 2021, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Oct. 17, 1929 in Berlin, Germany, she was a professional dancer, singer, comedienne and author.

Private service to be held.

She is survived by husband, Henry Guerrero Sr. of Hawi; stepchildren, Henry Guerrero Jr. of Maui, and Momi (Ben) Akana, Tammy (Oscar) Turcios, Heather Guerrero all of Honolulu; hanai daughters, Nina Heller and Tracy Cassutt both of California; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
