Kailua-Kona’s All Kine Pools and Spas LLC was recently named a 2021 Torch Award winner for Hawaii by the Better Business Bureau Great West + Pacific (BBBGWP).
The company, which opened in 2009, was one of three businesses and a charity to be named as Torch Award winners. The other two businesses were American Floor and Home and Island Winds and Doors while the charity was Kupu. In addition, All Kine Pools and Spas was named Small Business of Year, American Floor and Home Large Business of Year and Island Windows and Doors the Spark recipient. Kupu was Charity of the Year.
The Torch Awards for Ethics is the most prestigious honor BBBGWP bestows on businesses and charities operating within its eight-state service area. Winners are selected based on their commitment to operational integrity and ethical business practices.
“We were thrilled to receive more than 300 Torch Awards submissions this year from businesses and charities alike,” said Tyler Andrew, president and CEO of the service area. “It was truly inspiring to learn how each business makes a daily commitment to not only uphold ethical business practices, but also embody the true meaning of integrity. We hope this recognition helps the winners and finalists stand out in their local communities and encourage more businesses to operate with those same principles.”
All Kine Pools and Spas strives to instill family values in all interactions.
“Developing this embodiment of ohana (family) helps us to provide each of our clients with a comfortable setting for consultations and alternative budgeting plans to sustain the longevity of their pool and spa investments,” said Owner and Director of Operations Jamie Baxter.
Torch Awards winners from each state were announced as part of a virtual ceremony held on Oct. 28.
