Dolores Suenishi
Dolores Juanita Suenishi, 92 of Hilo, died Aug. 10, 2021, at her residence. Born in Pu’unene, Maui, she was a retired cashier hostess, and member of Saint Augustine by the Sea.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo for a service.
She is survived by daughters, Dolores Verbanic, Yolanda Colon, and Estrellita Sr. (Wayne) Burley; brother, Lawrence (Larry) Montalbo Sr.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Myron Subica
Myron William Subica, 72, of Hilo, died Oct. 30, 2021, at his residence. Born in 1949 in Hilo, he was a former truck driver for Puna Sugar Co. and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by sisters, Madeline Sehna of Hilo and Maureen Subica of Kurtistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harry Nobuo Suzuki
Harry Nobuo Suzuki, 88, of Hilo died Sept, 19, 2020, at Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in 1931 in Hilo, he was retired, a member of the Lions Club, Kaumana Drive Baptist Church, and AJA, and was a Vietnam War veteran who served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army.
Friends maycall at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Homelani Memorial Park for an inurnment that will include honorable military services. Flowers welcomed at the graveside.
He is survived by daughter, Judi Suzuki of California; and sister, Tomiko Tarumoto of California.

Christopher Lopez
Christopher Tomas Lopez, 48, of Hilo died Sept. 24, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a member of the Na Kane O Ke Awawa Motorcycle Club of Laupahoehoe.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Nov. 12 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a noon service. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
He is survived by daughters, Alexandra Lopez and Ashlee Lopez, both of Keaau; father, Tomas Lopez of Fairfield, California; sister, Maria Kaleiohi of Honolulu; and two granddaughters.

Yaeko Miyasato
Yaeko Miyasato, 87, of Hilo, died June 11, 2021, in Las Vegas. Born in Hilo, she was a retired educational assistant and a member of the Hilo Meishoin Mission and Fujinkai.

She is survived by daughters, Lynne (Gene) Harada and Luanne (Stephen) Matsuura of Hilo; son, Michael Miyasato of Hilo; sisters, Miyoko Ogata of Honolulu and Shirley Enoki of Hilo; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Byron Ah Hee Jr.
Byron “Joey” Joseph Ah Hee Jr., 35, of Hilo, died Sept. 10, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 17, 1986, in Hilo, he was an aircraft rescue fire fighting mechanic for the State Department of Transportation, Airports Division, Hilo International Airport, a heavy equipment operator and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13 for a drive-thru visitation at Dodo Mortuary upper carport. Casual attire.
He is survived by parents, Yvette and John Ikawa, and Byron Ah Hee Sr.; sister, Jewel (Josh Kotomori) Ikawa-Kotomori; hanai daughter, Jayzel Sayuri Ikawa; grandmothers, Jewel Andrade and Jean Arizumi; companion, Nikka Takane; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
