Linda Ann Yoshida, 73,of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 24, 2021 at her residence. Born Oct. 9, 1948 in Kealakekua, she was a housewife.

She is survived by husband, Harry Yoshida of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Myra de la Torre of Kailua-Kona, Elsa (Brandon) Ramirez of Denver, and Nara (John) Vance of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Sharon De Guair of Kailua-Kona, Jennifer (Philip) Snowden of Mountain View and Diane Tokumura of Captain Cook; brother, Charles (Linda) De Guair of Kailua-Kona; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Todd Wood
Todd Mitchell Wood, 58, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 23, 2021 at his residence. Born July 15, 1963, in Garden Grove, California, he was a roofer for a construction company and a salesman /installer at Indich Rug Collections.

John Heaukulani Sr.
John Michael Heaukulani Sr., 70, of Kalopa, died Sept. 29, 2021 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Feb. 5, 1951, in Honolulu, he was a retired metal and glass engraver and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by sons, John (Elaine) Heaukulani Jr. of Las Vegas, and Joel Heaukulani of Florida; brother, George (Patricia) Heaukulani of England and Ed (Debra) Heaukulani of Honaunau; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christine Tepa Kehaulani Farias, 44, of Waimea died Oct. 7, 2021, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and member of St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea.

Takako “Ginger” Tomita Randall, 95 of Hilo, died Oct. 22, 2021, e in Waimea. Born July 1, 1926, in Tottori, Japan, she was a retired sales clerk for Hilo Hattie’s in Hilo, a member of the Hilo, Kona and Waikoloa congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a certified Ikebana and Ikenobo instructor.

She is survived by daughters, Anita (Larry Packer) Randall-Packer of Waimea, and Terry Gant of Kealakekua; and grandchildren, Takashi Randall-Packer, Eva Marie Randall-Johnston, and Angelo Randall-Johnston, all of Waimea.
