SUNDAY
• Tim Ewing is once again hosting his haunted house on Halloween night, which is Sunday, in the Sea View Circle subdivision with some changes for COVID safety.
“With the way COVID is acting and the uncertain rules about gatherings here on the Big Island, I am not doing my full blown haunted house. The idea of 10 to 20-plus unvaccinated people in a tight enclosed maze screaming and breathing hard scares me,” he said. “It doesn’t mean that I am not doing Halloween. I am just going back to my roots. The haunt will end at my back door, which is guarded by ghosts.
• The Ocean View Community Center will be holding a drive-thru Halloween Day Candy Giveaway from noon to 3 p.m.
