Police seek whereabouts of Keaau teen

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Kealii Kaniho, who was reported as a runaway.

Kaniho was last seen Aug. 23 wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts and slippers in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is described as having a tan complexion, being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Kaniho is known to frequent the Puna and South Kohala areas.
