The Hawaii Diaper Bank will present an exclusive virtual concert Friday starring Grammy Award-nominated and Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning recording artist Kimie Miner.
The Kailua-Kona native will be performing live from O’ahu as part of Hawaii Diaper Bank’s (HDB) second annual “Wipe Out Diaper Need” fundraiser supporting keiki in need.
Proceeds from concert ticket sales will go towards HDB’s mission to provide free diapers, wipes, and other basic essentials to Hawaii’s low-income families with young children. The virtual event will also feature a silent auction, giveaways, and prizes.
Tickets for the 6:30 p.m. private virtual concert that will be streamed via YouTube are $30.
Big Island residents can also purchase a take-home dinner for two for $65 featuring Umeke’s cioppino (seafood stew) with pick-up in person offered from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the restaurant in Kailua-Kona. A bottle of wine can be added for $35. The take-home dinner and concert can also be purchased as a package for $90.
