Jonathan Babino Sr.
Jonathan Patrick Babino Sr., 62, of Hilo, died Aug. 9, 2021. Born Jan. 11, 1959, in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by wife, Rhona-Ann Babino; sons, Jonathan Babino Jr. and Robert Babino; daughter, Mariie Babino; brother, David (Amy) Babino; sisters, Marion gene (Lester) Glicker, Angelynn Chun, and Erleen (Teddy) Ah You; five grandchildren; an aunt; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Glenn Hudman
Glenn Kalani Hudman, 77, of Mountain View, died Aug. 29, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo and was a former Hawaii Police Department officer, retired as an investigator with the County of Hawaii Department of Liquor Control, a member of New Hope Church Hilo and a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by wife, Cris Hudman of Mountain View; son, Sean (Lucky) Hudman of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Bernadette (Deric) Hoohuli and Michelle Hudman of Hilo; brothers, William Clovis (Arlene) Hudman of Kailua-Kona and Ronald Eugene (Beatrice) Hudman of Hilo; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clyde Calip
Clyde Moses Calip, 65, of Moutain View, died Sept. 7, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 15, 1956, in Hilo, he was an invasive species field technician for the University of Hawaii in Hilo.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Dodo Mortuary carport for a drive-through celebration of life.
He is survived by sons, Ilikai (Noel Valente) Calip and Ola Calip of Moutain View; sisters, Janice (Ray) Kilgore of New Mexico and April Liberato of Pahoa; brothers, Elpidio Calip of Moutain View and Warren (Mary) Calip of Pahoa; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
