Joining Asing on stage for the 7 p.m. performance that’ll be aired via Kahilu TV will be Ethan Capone (piano), Stephen Inglis (guitar), Richard Heirakuji (bass), and Mark Lindberg (drums). There will also be a live talk story with Asing following the performance.
Born and raised on Oahu, Asing, a self-taught singer/songwriter, picked up the ‘ukulele and guitar at the age of 8. In addition to playing a variety of instruments, he is a prolific songwriter with a distinctive voice complemented by his own unique country/folk/island fusion, and charming entertainment style.
Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winner Blayne Asing is excited to play with the band and will perform new songs from his upcoming album release.
“I haven’t seen or played with my band mates since before COVID. We’re all just really looking forward to being together, playing together, and making music together at Kahilu,” said Asing.
