Police seek whereabouts of runaway teen

Big Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Makahiki Ikaika Moala, who was reported as a runaway.

Moala is described as having a dark complexion, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was last seen around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday in Hilo wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with a Dragon Ball Z design, gray shorts, and white Crocs.
