Seisho Oshiro

Seisho Oshiro, 99, of Hilo, died Aug. 8, 2021, at a care home in Keaau. Born Dec. 3, 1921, in Paauhau, he was the retired owner and general contractor for Oshiro Contractor, Inc. and member of Puna Hongwanji Mission, Hawaii Island Contractors Association and Hui Okinawa.

Friends may call between 4-5 p.m. Aug. 27 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a visitation only. Private service follows. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by daughters, Clara (Nelson) Rego of Hilo, and Donna (Robert Ishikawa) Oshiro of Hanapepe, Kauai; sons, Stanley (Susan) Oshiro of Kona, and Raymond (Ellen) Oshiro of North Richland Hills, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tracy Dela Cruz

Tracy “Our Angel” Anna Dela Cruz, 50, of Honomu, died Aug. 11, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 10, 1971, in Hilo, she was a member of the Honomu Good Shepherd Church.

Friends may call at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory.

She is survived by mother, Doreen Dela Cruz of Honomu; brother, Eugene Dela Cruz Jr. of Honomu; sisters, Shelly Dela Cruz of Honomu and Jolyn Dela Cruz of Papaikou; one niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and grand-nephews.

Miyoko Sakamoto

Miyoko (Horiuchi) Sakamoto, 97, died July 11, 2021 at the Oahu Care Facility in Honolulu. She was born in Captain Cook.

Private services. The family requests flowers and monetary gifts (koden) be omitted.

She is survived by husband, Tadao; son, Ray (Janice) Sakamoto; daughters; Raelene (Reid) Manago; Iris (Lance) Kaneshiro; brother Ray N. Horiuchi; brother-in-law Harold Ishibashi; sisters-in-law Tomoyo Horiuchi and Hazel Horiuchi; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Mona Voeller

Mona Lydia Entet Voeller, 88, of Kaneohe, died July 30, 2021, at Hale Anuenue Hilo. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and worked at Liberty House and Ethel’s Ala Moana and was also a member of Ladies Alter Rosary Society of St. Anne’s Kaneohe.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 7 at Hawaii Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Oahu, for services.

She is survived by sons, Rusty Voeller, Kalani Voeller, Mark Voeller, Scott Voeller and Ekela Voeller; daughters, Tracy Voeller and Lei Voeller; sister, Joann Rodrigues; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
