Richard Weddle
Richard “Rick” Loren Weddle, 78 of Waimea, died July 2, 2021, at his residence. Born May 28, 1943, in Borger, TX, he was a glass artist, musician, cartoonist, poet, a political commentator and a U.S, Army veteran.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by life partner, Joyce Elizares of Waimea, daughters, Marie Weddle of Maryland, Carie MacAlpine of California, Johanna (Derrick) Boult of Louisiana; brother, Scott (Dianne) Weddle of California; six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Philip Conceicao
Philip “Phil” Anthony Conceicao, 81, of Honaunau, died June 12, 2021, at a private care home. Born May 26, 1940 in New Bedford, MA, he was a farmer.
Private service to be held.
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Swan of Honaunau, sons, Mark (Dawn) Conceicao, Mike (Linda) Conceicao all of California, Chris Conceicao of Ocean View, five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cecelia Amend
Cecelia Marie Amend, 89, of Hilo, died July 10, 2021 at her residence. Born March 12, 1932, in New York City, she was homemaker.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. July 20 at Alae Cemetery (New Section) for burial.
She is survived by daughter, Nancy (Randy) Amend of Anchorage, AK; son Oliver (Sarah) Amend Jr. of Kasilof, AK; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five-great-great-grandchildren.

Edward Naihe
Edward Michael Naihe, 71, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, died May 4, 2021, at Kona community Hospital. Born June 8, 1949, in Honolulu, he was a heavy equipment operator and a member of IBEW LOCAL 1186 and Pukaana Congregational Church.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Helen Naihe of Ewa Beach, Oahu; daughters, Puanani (Kawika) Torres of Kealakekua, Napua Makua of Kailua-Kona, and Mahealani Makua of West Virginia; stepson, Branden Kaahanui of Ewa Beach, Oahu; stepdaughters, Tracy Kaahanui of Honolulu, Debbie Kaahanui-Hoyohoy (Travis Hoyohoy) of Hilo and Reina Kaahanui of Florida, 24 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
