Kelly Keoki Galimba, 51, of Hilo, died June 20, 2021, in Pahala. Born in Hilo, he was a self-employed property manager.

He is survived by companion, Cori Saiki of Hilo; daughters, Kaitlin (Noah Catcho) Galimba and Krista Galimba of Hilo; father, Albert Galimba of Pahala; sister, Debra Borges of Hilo; granddaughter, Acelyn Catcho-Galimba of Hilo; and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and nieces.

Taichi Yahata
Taichi “Tai” Yahata, 92, of Kapulena, died July 9, 2021, at a care home in Honokaa. Born March 23, 1929, in Kapulena, he was retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and a member of Hamakua Jodo Mission.

He is survived by sisters, Asako Teves and Miyako Tanabe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sadako Kiyota
Sadako Kodani Kiyota, 97, of Waimea, died July 11, 2021, at The Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Aug. 29, 1923, in Hilo, she was a retired salesclerk for Ben Franklin and a member of Kamuela Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Buddhist Women’s Association, Kamuela Japanese American Civic Association, and Kamuela Senior Citizens.
Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by son, Rodney (Brenda) Kiyota of Honolulu; daughter, Lillian (Kenji) Hamada of Grants Pass, Ore.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Diana Kelley
Diana Elizabeth Kelley, 50, of Kurtistown, died June 29, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Shew was the director for STARBASE Hawaii in Keaau.
Friends may call at 4:30 p.m. July 16 at Kilauea Military Camp, Lehua Room, at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a celebration of life until 8:30 p.m.
She is survived by husband, Joel Kelley; daughter, Ariana Kelley; mother, Ana Fetzer, brothers, John (Karen) Fetzer and David (Patti) Fetzer; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Fujie Sato
Fujie “Cookie” Sato, 96, of Honaunau, Kona and Mililani, Oahu, died April 13, 2021, in Kapolei, Oahu.
