Jaime Marcos Bitao, 66, of Hilo died May 25, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Bacnor West, Aurora Isabella, Philippines, he was a housekeeper at the Hilton Waikoloa Village and was a papaya farmer.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. June 11 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10:30 a.m. service. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
He is survived by wife, Mary Rivera Bitao of Hilo; son, Lindzy Rivera Bitao of Hilo; brothers, Marcelino (Betty) Bitao of Kauai and Florante (Josie) Bitao, Constante (Josephine) Bitao, Reynante (Vicky) Bitao and Amante (Marieta) Bitao, all of the Philippines; sisters, Lailanie (Irinio) Mammuad and Janet (Dante) Badua, all of the Philippines; hanai mother, Alfe Corrales of Keaau; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Elizabeth Alameida
Elizabeth Jane Angelo Alameida, 79 of Ahualoa, died April 25, 2021, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, she was a former candy packer at Hawaiian Holiday, kitchen worker at T. Kaneshiro Store and later retired from KTA Super Stores Deli in Waimea; member of the Kalopa Hawaii Pidgin Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She is survived by sons, Edwin Alameida Jr and Jerome (Nepal Greenlee) Alameida of Ahualoa; daughter, Teresa (Clifford Chuck III) Alameida of Honokaa; brothers, Joe (Barbara) Arrojo of California and Gary (Danette) Arrojo of Maui; sister Irene (Thomas) Malendres of Hilo; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dominga Collado Dalipog, 86, of Keaau, died May 18, 2021 at her residence. Born April 8, 1935, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a homemaker and member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

James Palama Sr.
James Otis “Kanak” Palama Sr., 80, of Hilo, died May 25, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices. Born Feb. 2, 1941, in Honolulu, he was a retired bridge maintenance worker for the state.
Friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. June 19 at Kaiona Beach Park in Waimanalo, Oahu, for a celebration of life and scattering of ashes.
