Jose Gelacio
Jose Narciso Gelacio, 79, of Pahoa, died March 11, 2021, at his residence. Born Dec. 18, 1941, in Balacad, Laoag City, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer and member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 24 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 10:30 a.m. service. Burial at Alae Cemetery (New Section).
He is survived by wife, Jovita Gelacio of Pahoa; daughter, Ilyn Narciso of Pahoa; brothers, Genaro (Buenaventura) Gelacio and Charles (Celia) Narciso of Philippines; sisters, Grace Lucas of Chicago, and Myda (Isaac) Pedrera and Maria (Eddie) Marcelino of Georgia; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donald Albrecht
Donald Louis Albrecht, 78 of Mountain View, died March 27, 2021, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Illinois, he was a woodturner, past administrative technician for the federal government, member of Big Island Woodturners, Hawaii Chapter American Rhododendron Society, and a retired U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by wife, Patricia Albrecht of Mountain View; sons, Douglas (Justine) Albrecht of Bellville, Texas, Darren (Teresa) Albrecht of McAlester, Oklahoma, Johnnie (Teresa) Williams and Gary (April) Williams both of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughter, Peggy (Jefferson) Mitchell of McAlester, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces.

Frank “Frankie” Raymond Cordeiro, 72, of Pahoa, died April 3, 2021, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Honolulu, he was formerly employed at Kukuaiau Dairy, KTA Super Stores in Hilo, a coffee picker in Kona and member of the Salvation Army Men’s Group.
