Karen Evangelista
Karen Diane Olivera Evangelista, 77, of Mountain View, died Feb. 20, 2021, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Hospice Facility. Born in Seattle, she was a former certified nursing assistant at the Life Care Center of Hilo, formerly worked at Verna’s Drive-In in Mountain View and a homemaker.
Friends may call at 1 p.m. April 10 at celebration of her life for a service. Casual attire.
She is survived by daughters, Chandra Olivera of Mountain View, and Devon Olivera of Michigan; mother, Virginia Cosper of Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Heronica Bilog
Heronica “Ikang” Ramirez Bilog, 100, of Na’alehu, died Feb. 23, 2021, at Ka’u Hospital. Born July 9, 1920 in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was a homemaker.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. April 9 at Naalehu County Cemetery for a service. Mass will be held at a later date.
She is survived by daughter, Elisa (Hermenegildo) Naboa of Na‘alehu; son, Galen (Remely) Bilog of Lahaina; sister, Maria Cachola of Palm Springs, California; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Revelina Niere
Revelina Lopez Niere, 75, of Waimea, died March 6, 2021 at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua in Honokaa. Born Feb. 8, 1946, in La Union, Philippines, she worked for a private laundry services companyin Waimea and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 8 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10:30 a.m. service. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory.
She is survived by husband, Manuel Niere of Waimea; daughters, Fannie (Robert) Nitura of Waimea, and Edita (Ian) Claridades of Waimea and Philippines; three grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
