Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance with an investigation involving the theft of a statue from a religious institution on Kilauea Avenue in Hilo.
Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance with an investigation involving the theft of a statue from a religious institution on Kilauea Avenue in Hilo.
The statue was taken sometime between Monday night and Wednesday morning, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The statue is described as being approximately 4 feet, made of cast concrete, and is very heavy.
Anyone with any information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen statue should contact Lt.
