In this collection, there are several photos of subjects unidentified and shown entirely without context.
Once a month, Kona Historical Society will share one of these photos to be published in West Hawaii Today, with the hopes that the public can help by sharing any information that can lead to the identification of the people, events, happenings and/or time period in these pictures. Email information about the featured photo to Kona Historical Society via archive@konahistorical.org.
This is a special collaborative project between Kona Historical Society, a community-based nonprofit organization that owns the photos, and West Hawaii Today. It’s part of the society’s ongoing effort to collect, preserve and share the history of the North and South Kona districts and their rich cultural heritage within Hawaii. Can you help us?
