Irene Omori
Irene Omori, 89, of Elyria and a former resident of Oberlin, Ohio, died Nov. 23, 2020, at Wesleyan Village. Born April 11, 1931, in Kona, he was a librarian in the public and college library systems and member of the Oberlin Golf Club.

She is survived by husband, Jerry; children, Mike (Laura) of Toledo, Ohio, Glenn (Nicki) of Grayling, Michigan, Carol Middaugh of Millbury, Ohio, and Dale (Suzanne) of Rocky River, Ohio; four grandchildren; and brother, Larry Yonemura (Shirley) of Pearl City, Oahu.

Ru Ann Mikilani Henry Oshiro, 55, of Hilo died Dec. 3, 2020, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was an executive paralegal with the County of Hawaii, Corporation Counsel and was a member of the HGEA.

She is survived by husband, Gabriel Oshiro of Hilo; sons, Hunter Oshiro and Ryder Oshiro of Hilo; hanai sons, Ikaika (Latoya) Kaili and Chawn (Calista) Kaili of Hilo; hanai daughter, Cheylan (Avelino) Kaili Lee of Hilo; brother, Shayne Henry of Hilo; sister, Erin Lee Daog of Hilo; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Enid Ushijima
Enid Miyada Ushijima, 86, of Waimea, and formerly of Wahiawa, Oahu, died Nov. 19, 2020, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a Lincoln Wrecker and a retired teacher from Wahiawa Elementary School.

She is survived by husband, Richard Ushijima of Waimea; son, Ryan Ushijima of Honolulu; daughters, Susan (Ron) Quong of Honolulu and Lani (Brent) Kiyota of Waimea; and two grandchildren.

Ronald Hayashi
Ronald Masao Hayashi, 72, of Hilo, died Nov. 17, 2020, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired eligibility worker with the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services and a member of the Hilo Meishion Mission.

He is survived by wife, Sandra Hayashi of Hilo; sons, Kyle (Tiara Lei Kim) Hayashi of Honolulu and Scott (Cynthia) Hayashi of Hilo; sisters, Lorraine (Stanley) Yamashita and Karen (Jon) Yasuda of Honolulu; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
